TEMA’s USDA H-450 and H-600 Conturbex has provided many advantages in the Stage #2 Lactose position for the past 16 years. Utilizing the same over-hung design, TEMA and its sister company, Siebtechnik in Germany, have developed, tested and proven a USDA accepted design Short Bowl Decanter for the Stage #1 position. This unit is dramatically easier to operate than traditional centrifuges making them excellent choices for food and dairy applications in general. The current models available are the SBD 450 and SBD 600.
